Digital Learning Inventory |
During my coursework for the TGC program, I created a digital inventory to highlight some of the technology resources available at the school I was working at. As I transition to my new school, I hope to be able to use this resource to modify what resources my peers and I can use to incorporate digital learning into our curriculum units.

Global Education Assessment |
How can we assess if our students are “getting it” in terms of our desired outcomes for incorporating elements of global education into our instructional practice? There are a number of resources available to guide us through this process. I have chosen to highlight a few that I have found to be most useful. The rubrics make both the assessment of skills as well as the “defense” of this important work to administrators that might not be supportive a breeze! Browse through these resources to determine which would be the most helpful for your grade level or content teaching assignment.
The Asia Society’s Guide is really the best way to familiarize yourself with the different parts of global education, how to implement it into your practice and to understand the successes that have already been enjoyed in developing global citizens for the 21st Century. It is over 100 pages long, so I recommend skimming the Table of Contents to get an idea of what you will be reading about and then diving into individual chapters as you see fit! http://asiasociety.org/files/book-globalcompetence.pdf UNESCO’s website also provides a wealth of information and resources about global education and issues facing different countries.
